Harvest Moon Connect to New Worlds

Hello guys! There is now the existence of a new Harvest Moon Game!
It's tentative rough translation seems to be Harvest Moon: Connect to New Worlds or something along those lines. What the final translating company will do with the title, we'll see if it gets a North American Release!

So for this game, it seems to be that the game's focus will be that you can trade with farmers from around the world (we have yet to find out what that means) and sell your produce to them.
There also seems to be a Safari system in which you can raise new and what I find a bit odd and strange animals. It seems all of these animals do exist outside of the Harvest Moon world and Marvelous has gone to .. animating them.

Here are some screenshots that the Japanese Gaming Magazine Famitsu has released.

Also from Famitsu the strange exotic animals you can allegedly befriend:

Don't Ask what they are, cause frankly, I have no idea! :D

According to various web sources and fan forums that I've been.. stalking.. it seems that customization of your farm is back from A New Beginning. But all of the actual building will be done by the blacksmith! Here are some images of you purchasing such construction items and organizing your home:

All taken from Famitsu Website

You can customize your own character, your farm and even your own farmhouse this time. As for customization for the town, I'm 50% sure you can. It can swing either ways. They have also implemented rival farming. Apparently two of the rival farmers have been released. Famitsu has posted their pictures which I will post here.

How she will farm in that dress, beats me. She probably wouldn't even fit through the far door.. personallly.

I personally thought they looked a little young, but what they hey! So do our characters! Speaking of our characters, these will be the main characters you can play. A gamer can choose between a girl or a boy and as I believe I mentioned above (or not) character customization is possible. The customization now includes hats and glasses and maybe other types of accessories. Apparently up to three is allowed to be worn at the same time. Kind of reminds of Harvest Moon Animal Parade no? For a girl like me, it just sweetens the deals and makes me hang at the edge of my seat to get my gritty greedy hands on this game.  The default design is here taken from the official Japanese website of the game:

The girl which I think is adorable! I wouldn't want to customize that cutie pie!

The default Boy: I personally still love Jack's design.. but the times are a changing and this guy is pretty cute too

Image of you customizing:

So now we know how our virtual faces will look like while we're picking up turnips and brushing cows, but how will our future spouses and children look like??!?!?! Well, all of the information for that hasn't been released yet, but so far we have two bachelors and two bachelorettes that have been released for this game. Here they are!  Taken from the official website and cropped to better show the details, comes the wedding candidates!

The Bachelors So Far

So this beautiful guy is a waiter/chef. His name seems to spell Ren or something like that. (My Japanese has gotten very shabby over the years). His dream is to open his own restaurant or is running is own right now (can't remember to precisely). His personality is serious but kind and has random moments of humor!

Speaking of Beautiful, here's the other guy. In Japanese is something like Klaus. He's personally my favorite so far because he doesn't't look like a little kid (and I'm not a little kid anymore hehehe). Now he has a very strange but perhaps lucrative job of making and fusing perfumes. Such a strange occupation for a dashing man, but his job makes it debatable among some Harvest Moon Fans that perfumes will play an important role in this game.

Now the Lovely Ladies

I think my bad Japanese says her name is Ririe. She's supposedly the older sister to a famous newscaster. She's super friendly and loves children and animals. Sounds like the average good girl down the street no?

This lovely lady's name sounds something like Angie (not sure). But she's the nurse for the town and younger sister to who looks to be the mayor for this town! (Yikes! Don't play this young girl's poor heart or you'll be tossed in jail!)

Whats a village with only potential marriage candidates and rival farmers? A place filled with chaos is one (slighted lovers and rivals.. eeps!). So there are villagers too. So far, there is only mention of one and she's a nice old lady who's image was on Famitsu:

Seems friendly enough.

Now of course there is also the aforementioned mayor? Of this town. This time she's a woman, and she looks like she means business! No more soft-nosed Theodore!

Now that's all the information that I've found browsing the web and the ones that I can remember from the back of my mind. This game is due to be released sometime in
February 2014 in Japan (they always get it so early -pout-) and for us American gamers, we can hope and dream that Natsume will cut to the chase and release it within the following year!

I'll post more information as it comes so keep posted and come back!

Guree's Animal Crossing New Leaf Village Tour: Aya and Natsu

Hello Everyone. I want to share with you a new house I visited. It's Aya and Natsu's house back in Japan. I don't remember what the town is called. It kind of slipped my mind, but please, enjoy the pictures. Their town was really pretty and I couldn't help but take a bunch of pictures like a tourist. It will motivate some, depress others, but definitely make all speechless!

There's Aya ------>>>>>>>>
Or the best image I could get of her! It's really hard to take pictures of people in this game. I met Saya at the island and we fished like crazy for medals. She even got me a Mermaid Shelf. So nice of her!!!!

Here's me arriving at the town. See that little picture in the corner? That's her flag. Aya said she drew it herself. She's such an artist! I think the town's name is at the bottom, but I can't read it.

First Failed attempt at a face Cut Out.. She had to instruct me to use it correctly!

Look! There's Aya!

Second Cut out. So freaking adorable. See the lovely fountain in the back and the arch of flowers?
Squeeee

Series of Bamboo shots of her Bamboo garden leading to her hosue!

Is it me, or is it hot in here?

Wooo weee! That's what I call a garden!

The ARCHHHHH! Must not go through it!!! Must not!

Natsu's HOUSE!
Natsu wasn't there when I went, but that didn't stop me from snapping his house into my camera.
The first is a series of green room with a pretty piano.

Look at the fancy things on the shelf.

I really want to sit on the table.. should i? SHOULD I?!?!?!

Next is a museum like room filled with antiques and fossils and trophies.

A kid's gotta show off his trophies... there's one.. twoo.. three... omG TOO MANY!!

What does that Arrow mean?!?!??!
I believe i stumbled upon a storage room...

Ah HA! The Mermaid Room!

Pinkkkkk!!!! Mesmerizing!

Can't get enough of pink! The bathtub! The pink! The everything! OMG the wetsuits!!!

THE ROYAL ROOM!

So royal, sho fancy. I feel like a country bumpkin with my simple hat and glasses....

Ooh... Sci Fi. Reminds me of the aircraft we use in FFX - 2

AYA's SHOPPING DISTRICT
-Spoiler Alert!!-
I believe most of you will unlock these eventually or already have. I haven't yet, and so it was exciting for me and I snapped snapped snapped away!

Why.. its a garden shop

Gracie has a store now??!?!? No way!!!
I gotta buy something.

Wow, everything is so pricey and animal printed. OMG, THOSE SHOES! Must have! Sales lady!!!!!

Me and Aya chilling in front of the biggest store ever!!! Beats Nookington any day!

A lot of these shops were closed because in Japanese time, it was early morning. I was super bummed out...
-Spoiler End-

And FINALLY!
AYA'S HOUSE!!!

Awww, man, I blinked!!!

It's an asian home! Look at that kotatsu! Those persimisms!

Every Japanese puts great value in bathing. Makes you want to wash. But my fishy smell can go another day!

I want to know what that light is at the end of the room.. But can't reach!!

And AYA's Mermaid Room!!!!

Yup, its even pretty the second time. PINKKK!!!

A Classroom
Aya teaches?

Wow! Aya has a clasroom in her house! She must be a great teacher!
Look at the lovely t-shirt with a face design! Aya can draw, that girl!

1+1 =3... Wait...

Shoe cubby! that's pretty darn cool!

Study Room

That looks like it came from the Mayor's office!

Last room picture of Aya's Town.

That was really fun! Her town was much prettier and there was so much more to see, but I couldn't capture everything! But Aya was a lovely person, very nice and sweet and I was really happy at getting to see her room!

Well that ends Guree's Animal Crossing Village Tour: Aya and Natsu

Wii U Rising Thanks to Pikmin 3

According to my various resech material, it is now confirmed that the Wii U's sales have increaseed slighly (about 20,000) thanks to Pikmin 3. Pikmin 3 has taken the #1 stop in Japan with about 90,000 units sold. But the problem is, its nowhere nearly as good as Pikmin 2 which sold about 130,000 in the first week. It might be due to the low amount of Wii U's sold around the world, but lets hope for the best for our console and game. Till next time :D

Talking to Myself Once More

I have an essay to write, and several novels to continue reading and yet I can't seem to think very straight. I'm sure it has something to do with this suffocating heat that's being emitted from everything. Summer is coming, and I can feel it with my irritable soul.

Putting all that English limbo jumbo aside, I am happy to announce that I have Pre-Ordered and am eagerly waiting the release of several games!

Number 1 on my list and the first to be released is Animal Crossing: New Leaf for the Nintendo 3DS! Its coming out June 9th and I'm simply ecstatic to have my grimy little hands on it. I already have a 3DS and a 3DSXL but I HAD to get the special Animal Crossing: New Leaf Bundle. Ah, the beauty of consumerism. But it was just too cute to resist. And it was white!! Do any of you know how badly I have been craving a WHITE nintendo console? Too long. Too long. Eagerly anticipating Animal Crossing's release date here in North America.

The other things I have Pre-Ordered is Pokemon X and Y coming out sometime in October 2013! Than there is Shin Megami Tensei IV though I only did cause I wanted the official guide book. Looking at the game, I think I'll cancel my Pre-Order and put it towards my Animal Crossing Bundle.

I forgot to Pre-Order only one thing and that is Rune Factory 4 set to come out, according to Gamestop, around July 17. I'll go do that next week while canceling my Shin Megami one.

Listen to me babble. But I'm very excited for this summer. My life seems to be dominated by release dates only. D: I hope you guys are just as excited and once summer comes, I can focus on just my writing? How do I know this? Because I've been accepted into UC Irvine and I don't have to take summer school this year because of that! Whoopeeee. Congrats to me. And now back to Eugene O'Neil's Long Day's Journey into Night. Essay, be prepared to be conquered!!!!
